Washington State Patrol reports 7 fatal collisions since last week

SPOKANE, Wash. – Seven deaths have occurred on Washington roads since last week.

Data released by the Washington State Patrol reports seven fatal collisions between March 15 and 21.

There have been 37 fatal collisions across the Evergreen State since the beginning of the year.

In addition to fatal collisions, there have been over 2,400 drunk driving arrests in Washington since January 1.

The Washington State Department of Transportation’s Target Zero highway safety plan lists drunk driving as a high risk behavior.

Other risky behaviors include risky or distracted driving.
