Washington-Stevens bridge construction closure scheduled for June 3

Spokane, Wash. – Construction on the Washington/Stevens bridge is set to commence in the city. Anticipate traffic delays and detours.

Starting on Monday, June 3, the Washington/Stevens bridge will be closed to southbound traffic, with drivers rerouted to West North River Drive. Additionally, northbound Washington will be reduced to one lane.

This closure will be for bridge deck and joint repairs according to the city officials. Drivers are advised to consider Division Street, Monroe Street and the Maple/Ash corridor for both north and southbound travel.
