The Western States Scientific Safety Advisory Group has given the green light to start distributing the Pfizer COVID vaccine to kids ages 5 to 11.
According to Governor Jay Inslee, the safety group reviewed the CDC’s emergency use authorization and confirmed the safety and efficacy of the shot.
The Western States Scientific Safety Advisory Group is a coalition between Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada. The workgroup independently reviews the FDA’s actions related to COVID-19 vaccines.
