What to expect at the 60th annual Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol Ski Swap this weekend

SPOKANE, Wash, – “We anticipate a record inventory of gear and clothing available at the SWAP this year,” said Mt. Spokane Ski Patroller Dan Edwards, director of the SWAP this year.

Edwards said that back on October 22nd based on the inventory already submitted from partner shops combined with interest from the public.

Every year the Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol Ski SWAP (SWAP) is on the last weekend of October at the Spokane Fair & Expo Center.

The public is able to bring in their used gear and register it for sale from 3-8 p.m. On Friday, October 25th. SWAP sales happen Saturday from 9-5 and Sunday 9-noon.

It costs $5 to get in (kids 12 & under are free).

Sellers can pick up checks for sold gear (20% going to Ski Patrol to fund their rescue operations) and unsold gear from 2-4 pj.m. On Sunday.

This is one of the largest events of it’s kind in the region.

Sellers can discount items on the last day for “Red Tag Sunday”. Those items would then be available for 25% off.
