What you need to know before you go to Spokane Velocity FC’s home opener

SPOKANE, Wash. – As of 6 a.m. on March 15, 2024, there were around 50 tickets still available for Spokane Velocity FC’s home opener against the Richmond Kickers.

If you want to go, there are some things you should know first.Spokane Velocity FC staff say you should expect to spend about $35 per person to go to the game ($18 ticket, $7 parking, $10 snacks/beer).They recommend parking downtown and walking through Riverfront Park. You can also park at River Park Square or at the old Value Village lot now known as Lot C.There is a clear-bag policy at ONE Spokane Stadium. It is also a cash-free venue so make sure to bring a debit or credit card.First kick is at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. Spokane Velocity FC staff are encouraging people to show up very early to get situated and enjoy the game.There will be brand-new Spokane Velocity FC merchandise available at the home opener.509 Syndicate (Spokane Velocity FC’s supporters’ group) will be hosting a march to the match before every home match starting at the fountain in Riverfront Park. Anyone can join. There will be a drum line, chants, flags, and more. The 509 Syndicate will follow soccer tradition by having their own section in the stadium, standing, drumming, and performing chants throughout the match. Anyone can join them in their section; you just need a ticket to the match.Closer to the summer, SVFC is expecting more local options in the stadium. For now, they will have Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, old-fashioned kettle corn, BBQ, tacos, grab-and-go type foods (hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, candy, chips, popcorn, etc.).Brick West Beer is SVFC’s official beer partner and Brown Family Vineyards is their official wine partner.Here is where you can get tickets.
