SPOKANE, Wash. – Two local universities are being recognized for their commitment to academic excellence and student success as the U.S. News & World Report ranks their achievements.
Whitworth University continues to shine as they snag the No. 4 spot in the Best Value Schools in the West category, making it the only school in the Northwest to be ranked in the top five.
Additionally, Whitworth ranks No. 8-tie in the Best Overall Regional Universities in the West making its 26th top 10 appearance in this category.

Gonzaga University also marked high in the national recognition marking their sixth consecutive year being in the Top 100 National Universities.
The school also boasted of their rankings in Best Value School, Top Performer on Social Mobility, and one of the nation’s Best Colleges for Veterans.
