Wildfire prompts level 2 (be set!) evacuations for parts of East Wenatchee

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. — Level 2 (be set!) evacuations are in place near East Wenatchee due to a wildfire.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed evacuations are being issued for residents living on Batterman Road, Anderson Lane, Keane Grade Road and Sageland Road.

The fire is in the Batterman Hill and Saunders Road area. DCSO said the fire is quickly spreading and residents living in those areas should be set to leave with a plan in place. If you have animals or livestock, move them.
