SPOKANE, Wash. — The woman suspected of in Spokane Valley was arrested.
The stabbing took place on June 3 around 4 a.m. near the 4700 block of East 1st Street and Custer Road. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and learned the suspect left the scene.
SCSO said the stabbing stemmed from a disagreement that escalated into a violent assault. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and is said to be in stable condition.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and first-degree residential burglary.
This incident remains an active investigation.
