SPOKANE, Wash. – A woman died at the Spokane International Airport Saturday according to the Spokane County Medical Examiner.
The cause of her death has yet to be determined by the medical examiner.
Flights are generally diverted to the nearest airport if a passenger experiences a life-threatening emergency or dies on board according to International Air Transport Association guidelines.
The examiner identified the woman who died at the airport as 67-year-old Maria Bistodeau.
