PRIEST LAKE, Idaho – A Liberty Lake woman swam the entire length of Priest and Upper Priest Lake from Monday to Tuesday, completing a nonstop 20 hour swim of over 24 miles.
Kim Bowler, swam to raise funds to build wells in Uganda. More details can be found on her Facebook page.
The rules dictated that she could not ever touch land, a boat or another person for the entirety of her nearly day-long swim.
Bowler is the first woman to swim the entire length of Priest Lake, and the second person to ever complete the challenge.
