Women arrested at for allegedly spending $2,000 with stolen credit card at Spokane Valley Mall

SPOKANE, Wash. – Two women were arrested on Friday for allegedly using a stolen credit card to purchase over $2,000 in items at the Spokane Valley Mall.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were initially alerted to the suspected stolen card shopping spree by a call from employees at a store in the mall.

Deputies arrested the two women alongside a man who was with them at the time in the mall parking lot after they were seen getting in a white truck.

The man detained alongside the two women was later released after deputies did not develop probable cause to charge him with a crime. Both of the women were booked in Spokane County Jail for identity theft and stolen property charges and were released on their own recognizance on Saturday.
