Spokane Community College is hosting an event on Wednesday, Nov 1 at 8:30am to 1:00pm to promote their technical education offerings. Ashley Purdin, Dean of Technical Education and Guillermo Espinosa, Associate Dean of K-12 Partnerships and Outreach, spoke on this week’s Workforce Wednesday Episode about the event and how potential students could connect with their programs.
Ashley stated “ This event is designed to introduce potential students to a variety of two-year degree programs which align with the employer needs in the Spokane community”. She went on to say “ we have 17 exciting programs we will be highlighting and allowing individuals to explore, ask questions, and consider for enrollment in our winter quarter”. There will also be SCC staff available to talk about financial aid opportunities, as well as Running Start and Dual Enrollment Information.
