Wrong-way crash on eastbound I-90 near Spokane causes injury, westbound lanes blocked

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is responding to an injury crash on eastbound I-90 near Spokane, where a car was traveling the wrong way and collided head-on with another car.

According to WSP troopers at the scene, the car was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes and struck another vehicle head-on around 10:30 p.m.

Troopers said the highway is partially blocked due to the crash, and westbound I-90 is closed at Geiger.

The extent of injuries is unknown at this time. WSP officials said they will release more information when appropriate.
