SPOKANE, Wash. — Students at Washington State University could possibly have to pay more in the next school year.

The Board of Regents met to discuss an increase of 3% for tuition or an extra $340 for the 2025-2026 school year. Right now, in-state students pay around $12,201 in tuition and out-of-state students pay around $28,385.

WSU enrollment numbers have dropped 20% since the pandemic and a report shows a slight upcoming drop in a year.
