YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima Humane Society has raised thousands of dollars during the NCAA Tournament to support animal welfare throughout the region.
Funds from the event will allow the humane society to increase Spay & Neuter Clinic operations and enhance current facilities.
As of the publishing of this article, over $3,000 has been raised for the Yakima organization.
Yakima Humane has been in operation for over 118 years and serves the wider Ellensburg region.
Those interested in donating can do so online, and volunteer applications are also accepted on a rolling basis.
